It takes time £’s and patients to do, the car is in front of you not us so we can’t see act on what is in front off us only whet you tell us. We can go through things and things other people have had problems with. You have to go through logically rule out one to pin point another. This is not a get out clause but been through problems of my own at £££ with Vauxhall and mobile tech who pointed out problem in 20 minutes. As my lappy had died I had nothing to use.
VECTRA VXR‘s BOTH TEAPOT TUNED WITH A LITTLE OLD DOGGIE TWEAK.
TECH2WIN AND GDS2 2021 DIAGNOSTICS.
PIN RETRIEVAL FROM SOME MODULES.

That’s why I check through stuff take advice follow through and report my findings in the hope to find the cure.

yeah clean the ABS connector and check it for corrosion on any of the cables... if that doesn't help clean the UEC main circuitboard ( it's a PITA to get out though). Also the battery has gone weak from you trying to start it so many times... just charge it up with a trickle charger, that way it actually reconditions the batteries cells and will be able to hold a charge for longer...

I’ve had the battery on charge over night so il test it again was only bought January 2019 and has 5 year warranty so worst case will be changed.
I intended to check and clean all the earths abs starter wires.
not sure I want to take out the uec if it’s a pain just yet.
il check the abs plug but I’m starting to think the starter is on it’s way out as it started no bother a few times then was just clicking I could hold the key in the start position and the starter would click a good few times then fire

if that is what it does than you almost certainly have found the culprit... to make sure put the car in neutral, handbrake on remove the key open the UEC, remove the starter relay and jump the pins 87 and 30 if the starter doesn't turn over immediately the starter is gone for whatever reason...

Been there and than it decide to go to pot... it slowly for worse and to be fair if I would've taken it off to inspect it I wouldn't have found it until it stopped working completely...

Sounds like a starter motor replace needed - worn brushes or armature , can give that sort of problem.
