It should be banned though those double rear foglights..I have been stuck driving behind a dual rear foglight idiot for miles on the motorway by the time he finally got off at his exit I had a headache... seriously one is enough.
And you can't see the darn things anyway whilst driving, so the sole reason to do it is looks... damned looks... one is enough (yeah dogger here's me telling you off)

It wouldn't be so bad if the fog light idiots were courteous and to turn them off when a car behind is following them.
I know very few drivers who follow other cars at a distance that is greater than 100 metres (fog light rules are that they should only be used if visibility is less than 100 metres).
OK, if no one is behind you for quite a considerable distance, then by all means put them on (if visibility is less than 100 metres), but turn the ****** things off as soon as someone is behind you.

I like using my front foglighys as drls but the rear i hardly need to turn them on and the one time I needed it was on on pickup and return trip to Heathrow and back to mine... that was when I got hit with that idiot and because of the fog it wasn't a good idea to pass him so stayed behind him and suffered for a good old 100 miles... than he finally went the other way.
If he would've turned them off it wouldn't have given me the headache...
Mind you this was on my way to Heathrow so I had to suffer with the headache until I got home... yeah I did take some paracetamol but it didn't help... it was more like a migraine... caused by a dual rear foglight idiot.

he didn't give a toss, blacked out rear windscreen, not responding to me flashing him with the high beams so tried to slow down a bit, putting more distance between me and him, but checking the satnav that added to much time to the trip so went back to the 50mph that was allowed at that time... so just had to suffer.. ps putting on shades wasn't an option due to the fog
