Faulty Vectra CIM
Hi there. Pleased to have become a member of this forum. I have got a problem with the CIM on my Vectra C. I am no longer getting the clicks when the indicators are operating and I reckon it is probably a fault with the loudspeaker within the CIM. I can get hold of a new speaker to fit. Just wanted to know what happens if I disconnect the CIM to work on it and then re-connect it. Will it need to be re-programmed or will the immobiliser alarm go off. Sorry to ask such basic questions but I have never dealt with one of these units before. Grateful for any advice from any users who have experience of this problem.

The indicators stopped 'clicking off ' on my old Vectra 'C' and it was diagnosed as a CIM fault, which required the CIM to be replaced. Sorry, cannot reply as to how the CIM could be sorted, due to lack of knowledge of these things.
