    Default 1.9 dead after alternator change

    As many as you know i used to own this Vectra,perfectly running fine ,sold it to a workmate he then had it remapped by TP mapping and its been running spot on since, then had brand-new cam belt waterpump and aux belt changed,few weeks later one night on the way home battery light symbol, power steering went stiff ABS lights come on but managed to make it home next morning Jump start ,managed to get it to work,secondhand alternator put in on the way home same problem,so brand new alternator put on now nothing happens,dash lights come on but nothing happens when trying to start it,canít hear nothing coming on and starter does nothing ,where do i start lads

    Just been out to it turned the key and can hear the fuel pump going so something to do with starter motor

    Is the battery still good enough to turn the engine or does it need charged? Has something happened the battery when the alternator packed in? Just my thoughts.

    Yeah brand new battery and jump leads attached to but nothing happens
