    Default AdrianFlux funny quote :)

Have no idea but soon my insurance due and decide to try AdrianFlux for my Insignia. Funny but only modification is a stupid towbar (protect me from idiots where love tailgate) and rear tinted windows - so ring them and quote been £1100 for single payment 😳😳😳 . As expected to have better price. Going to site for insurance and get full comp with declared mods for £637 - that is total with credit charge due I pay monthly. So how people get quotes for £2/3/400 per year have no idea. Been shocked and forget to try Chris but likely there to be same and all these checks will appear in my credit file. So please someone to explain me how I get that nice price over market site and cannot be provided by recommended insurers. Even I state where I’m member (they even not ask to check).

In my experience Adrian Flux are one of the worst priced insurers out there.

Wouldn't give me a quote for my Vectra at all last year, and when I tried to buy a Cooper S as a weekend car they quoted me £4300 third party and refused to quote for fully comp. All while claiming to be a modified car specialist and a mini specialist! And that was listed as social use only, 2000 miles a year, only mods being a supercharger pulley and an exhaust.

Brentacre and other modified specialists are always nearly as bad, and it always ends up being Admiral that gives the lowest price (still over £2000 for the Vectra), as most mods don't increase your premium with them. That's because they don't pay out the value of the modifications in the event of a claim though, they just pay out the value of standard parts...

Adrianflux have been really cheap with the VXR and my last highly modified Cdti, they were quite happy with the mods on this one too. They didn’t like the Mokka but when it was clear I’d be insuring both at the same time the lowered it. These along with APlan and Chris Knot all gave me similar quotes including all mods. It only came down to screen excess and other excesses in why I choose APlan this year but it was so close it really was otherwise I’d gone with Adrian flux.
For the last few years the likes of Admiral who used to be cheap on a dual car policy have been sky high. A few years before that Adrian Flux wanted even more for the VXR hence me steering away from them but then a few years later the prices have dropped loads.
Can’t work any of it out.

If you live in a high-risk area like mine (Liverpool), insurance costs more.

Admiral have been fantastic for insurance on my Vectra. No problem with modifications either. I appreciate area and age plays a big part in insurance but all I can say is the price is very good compared to some other companies...

Do give us a call Libb. We can often undercut the price comparison sites for club members if the cover is like for like. With regards to any credit check - it’s a light touch check that doesn’t show on your file and you can refuse it - we always ask your permission if we think it might help you get a lower quote. Our interest amount will likely be lower too.
