Refurbished F17 Gearbox for Z18XER and replacement

Hi guys and Happy new 2021 year!
Can you please recommend a garage which can offer a good quality reconditioned F17 Gearbox for my Vectra 1.8 2007 Z18XER car.
(I don't want to post in "wanted" as I hope to help more people with similar problem)
I just don't trust ebay for that.
My gearbox start making noise 1 year ago about 10K miles done with that noise. All gears go in smoothly, but the whining... even my wife can hear.
I hope that I will be able to replace the gearbox myself this summer.
Any helpful links about replacing will be welcomed as well as recommended garages....(already checked youtube)

dude eBay sellers will have the boxes tested before they send them out especially when they say it is refurbished... you'll notice it immediately as the box will be clean and look like a new unit, if you end-up buying one from a scrappy it'll have the date and their markings on it set in certain positions and more noteable it will be advertised as a used gearbox with the mileage stated... so yeah there is nothing wrong with using eBay... just make sure you get the f7 for your car as that gearbox is used in a lot of models so there are different bellhousings on the different models... to do a search make sure you put in your car details and check if it will fit your engine. if you aren't sure send them a message first with your reg. number so they can check it before you decide to buy it

here is a refurbished one but do check if it's the correct one
by the way a used one is around 150 pounds... i would actually go for that as these cars are getting that old now you can buy another one for about 400 pounds with a years MOT.
