    the eagles are a completey different kettle of fish to the NCT's....much much better and they'd be my reccomendation..

    Around £180 for 2 I seem to remember. If you have 17s get 225/45/ 17's. They are much cheaper.

    i would say goodyear f1s never had a prob with them and stick very well to the road but toyos stick better but waer out alot quicker as soft compound

    Tyres seems to be a hot topic
    Good Year appear to be fitted to most, with the NCT5 215/50R17 as standard on the 17" alloys
    I found they were too expensive and the wear rate was working out at about 20 miles, when swapped rear to front as they wear

    I've now swapped to the Good Year F1 GSD3 225/45ZR17
    They are almost half the price and have much better treadwear / traction / temperature ratios, so even if they only last 20K miles that is still less pence per mile

    My previous Vectra B SRi140 was fitted with Michelin HX MXM 205/55R16 and they were typically £110 each, and would last 40K miles
    I used the same tyres on my Mondeo, which originally had Continental Sport Contacts, and they were pants!
