can anyone help me with my misfire ??
well guys i eventually put the vectra on the road today after having the engine replaced. it was all fine until it sort of stumbled when booting it. do i done a quick brake pedal test and got p0170 p0391 and p0139. So i cleared the codes and they all went away. but the car still sounded of a cylinder but no codes. so i drove up the street and it threw the eml on and a faulty code p0301. cleared it and drove again but it was still misfiring. For some reason something made me do a pedal test again and it fired up p0391 again but no other codes but the computer was showing p0301 and no other codes. The computer is a mates its a blue point something. my suspicions are the p0391 ( camshaft postion sensor bank 2) is causing the misfire and had possibly caused the other codes to appear. so my question is is it the crankshaft sensor behind the starter motor (from what im told) that needs replaced or is it in another location? im not 100% clued up on mechanics but know enough to get by from time to time. i dont want to just throw parts at this car as its cost me enough upto now. any help guys would be appreciated.

unfortunately not last engine wouldnt start and turned out to be the crank sensor but the one on the replacement engine was fine when the engine was fitted. but the code is telling me its a camshaft postion sensor on bank 2 which would mean the exhaust side and that would mean 2 off them? so am i vetting myself mixed up somewhere with the crankshsft sensor and the camshaft sensor?

Not 100% on exact location, but gonna hazard a guess it will be at one end of the Camshaft (top of the engine)

2 camshaft position sensors are located on the end of the head, cambelt side ... don't know which one is referred to as bank 2 though..

Bank 2 is usually exhaust, but it is a Fiat engine, so it could mean anything
