    It should go where you're holding it.. probably got plugged because it had a leak... it is just a vacuum pipe that needs to be a bit longer

    Hello, some times the car goes on safemode, could this be related?

    Probably best to buy some silicon tubing and replace all the plastic tubing then you wont get any leaks. Thats what i did when i had my 2.2DTi.

    I replaced mine with 3mm internal diameter silicone vacuum-pipes in black (i own a 2.0DTI) and the reason your car sometimes goes into limp mode is either under- or over-boost.... i would clean the intake and clean-up the MAP sensor that is in the intake, than remove the egr and clean that up also.... if it keeps going into limp mode than it might be the VNT mechanism on your turbo that needs cleaning... there are a few ways of doing that...

    also check the big boost-pipes for cracks and or leaks.

    also the boost sensor may need cleaning as that also puts engine into limp mode.

    you do know that that is the MAP sensor, right? if so i mentioned it

    Great information, i do not have acess to the how2 yet, is there another way for me to have acess to the haynes manual to check all this possibilities

    Not that I know off mate... I just take stuff off and physically check it all... it all fits back in only one way so you can't really mess things up...

    Just make sure that you remove stuff methodically... and take pictures of how it was before.
