caliper or hand brake issue

Hi guys

ive got an issue with either sticking/ seized rear calipers or something wrong with the hand brake cable or mechanism.

When i apply the hand brake it will only click 1 or 2 times before it goes solid or it will pull right up to the arm rest, it does this probably 80% of the time, the rest it seems to be about 5 or 6 clicks. Either way it doesnt do a very good job of actually functioning as a hand brake and i can pretty much pull away with it on.

discs and pads were changed just before lockdown (OEM ones) as my MOT was due in april but was the put back until this month. I also fitted new slider pins and also the runner sleeves but it didnt make any difference.

Im thinking about fitting new calipers but before i oder them i was wondering if the issue could be anything else?
