Default Had a call from the Dealer, MOT is due !

I thought my MOT was due the end of July, the dealer just phoned asking me if I wanted to book the car in because it's due on 24th May and i'm on holiday that week.

Thank god they reminded me otherwise i'd be driving around without an MOT for a couple of months LOL - it's the tax due end of July

Should be ok, can't really think of anything which it could fail on but then these things can bring a surprise

What are they like Simac? I bought Chevette from them in about 1867 but have never been back since.

For MOT's/ non warranty work I go to a VX specialist in Ellesmere Port as does everyone else with a VX around here.

Hi, I use Lookers (again) in Heswall. Pretty good really for a main dealer. I used to use Sylk in Manchester (by work) but had a major falling out with them

He must have used a time machine, because I am fairly sure that the motor car hadn't been invented by 1867.

I know the "Shuv it" was old, but didn't realise it was that old..

Well I feel that old having done a one off night shift last. I've forgotten how bad they can be.

It was actually 1986. A white one with Red interior. It fell apart when we moved to London.

The jingle was, "The Vauxhall Chevette is whatever you want it to be" and they claimed James Hunt drove one. He was so hard up he probably did.

There OK, I bought this and my last Vectra B from them and haven't had any real problems. They have made a couple of boo boo's by squirting industrial strength superglue over the interior of the car and putting the wipers back on the wrong way around ! Both incidents were sorted quickly without any probs.

M&S, do you have the name/no. of the specialist ? just in case Wednesday doesn't go too well LOL

The car doesn't have any probs i'm aware of besides being a bit lumpy at times which could be the coil pack ( as per my other thread). That's on hold now incase the MOT creates any expense !
