The trouble is and this is how I see it is you’ve got to then wait for someone with the exact car your asking for with this mod.
Youve been on here longer than me so must have also noticed how quiet it is around modifying. What I do is exactly what southpole said, google. It’s amazing it really is, you seen the inside of my engine bay? It’s worse than yours because as you know I had one. So if I’m trying to work out where a certain part or sensor is I google the engine pictures and look at views around it and along with the parts diagram work out what is what.
You can also look through the car diary’s, there’s some right interesting stuff there and can give you ideas on how to do jobs on your car you might otherwise sidestep

Like I said, simple request. Thats all. I have "googled" but a bit of positive feedback from members was the whole point of this post. I haven't been on here in years so I don't know how quiet it is in modifying. What are you on about your engine bay worse than mine????

most of us do like the rear windows tinted... i'm not a fan of it... but like i said if you google "vectra c facelift silver with tinted windows" than click on the image tab you'll see loads, and the first ones to pop up are on the forum, just follow the link of the pic and you'll endup in someones build thread...

That is not my car by the way t's one of the pictures that pop up as soon as you look on google...

if you want to know about percentages... most do limo black on the rear windows, and sneak a 30% light smoke tint on the front side windows.. but the windows are already tinted from the factory so it makes it illegal... most coppers won't notice it, but if you ever drive into one of those checks, they like to do at christmas time, they could fine you on the spot plus have you remove it....

whilst I agree with you the Garda in Ireland (police) are a different breed altogether in my experience so I wouldn’t be doing the front .... before I moved back to the uk in 2012 I had a 2006 Impreza with full tints all round , and only light smoked ones at that with a darker one on the rear , got stopped outside Dublin and had to remove the fronts there and then ... ruthless ****ers lol .

I don't do it for 2 reasons.... don't like the big contrast on the side between the front and the back... and the other reason is I don't like giving coppers a reason to do a stop and search....

And my car got factory tinted windows already so any tint I would add to the fronts would be a simple reason for the coppers to fine me.... no thank you I rather keep my money for other stuff.
