I have heard that there is a special sequence to observe when changing battery on Insignia 2.0 cdti(not stop/start) LM60 XNH
That being the case could someone enlighten me? Thank you

If there is one it'll be mentioned in the owners manual.
If you don't have it, download it from vauxhall in pdf format and have a browse through it.
You need to connect a obd2 plug that has clamps on the end and a battery to keep your settings memory and stuff something like this
Just make sure its the correct battery
Or a battery booster to the battery terminals
On my old Cavalier, I was alarmed one day when I turned it off but it carried on running with the keys out. I'd left a 7.2 volt R/C pack plugged into the lighter socket on charge and it was running the car !
On my Vectra B CDX, you had to have the ignition switched on before removing and fitting a battery, else the alarm would go off.
