Mdi cheap enough now first ones yes I know not OEM but had one for awhile with no problems till I sold it. Sps on older vehicles programming and diagnostics for newer vehicles. Just wouldn't bother with the wifi as that bit is crap.
The software you can pick up if you look for free in VMware or buy it. The only thing you won't be able to do is reprogram any module as that is different software for the newer vehicles, SPS which you have to buy for 2hrs or 24hrs periods and if you know the right people cheaper than on the PSA site.
