07 Vectra 1.9CDTI DPF question

Good evening all,

Has anyone changed/removed a DPF and sold the old one? anyone know if the 1.9CDTI's have value? i hear some do some dont.

If you’re talking about your car you might not have a DPF to remove (or sell).

If it’s manual and a hatch you probably ain’t got one. If it’s an estate or auto well you probably will and even then it’s not going to be worth much and will cause your car to fail it’s MOT if you take it off. Removing to drill out then put back is another story....

i have a AUTO i plan to break.

We also broke a insignia and sold the DPF to a local scrap cat guy for £160, but he is currently not working so looking for other advice.

Save not break would be my advice.

DPF from a Vectra is not going to be worth much compared to an Insignia one though due to less demand. I doubt you’ll find many people looking to replace their DPF with another one and as for the actual metal values, I wouldn’t know where to start but you’ll always get something from someone but just not on here.

If anyone knows different I’m sure they’ll let you know.
