Aftermarket DAB Aerial for CDC40
Hi guys.
I recently bought a CDC40 headunit, GID and DAB box from a local scrapyard. Car still had battery power, so I was able to verify that it was all working correctly. It's an ideal scenario since they are all paired correctly.
I've managed to create a wiring harness to connect the DAB box to the headunit, but what is the best type of aerial to purchase (I couldn't get the one from the donor car). There seems to be various layouts of the FAKRA connector in terms of lugs/grooves (e.g. FAKRA A or FAKRA C) so would need one that will work with the DAB box. Any ideas?
Hope someone may be able to help.

Generic work fine, only issue is most radio stations are going onto dab+, which the dab unit doesn’t support. This is the 1 I fitted tho

Fakra connectors are colour coded. I’ve only seen fakra b (white) used for radio & fakra c (blue) used for gps, although there are about a dozen types. Fakra z (turquoise) is universal fit.

Hi guys, thank you for your prompt and informative replies.
I have ordered the recommended aerial now, so hopefully it'll do the trick.
Thanks again.
