Can't find that bumper I mentioned earlier, which is annoying as it was an SRI bumper but had ducts fitted to the rear with SRI fog light grilles but with the inner parts of the slats 'holed' in a rectangular fashion where the ducts go behind. Having looked at my own bumper (stripped the front of the car two weeks ago ready for some refreshing) there aren't any special 'lugs' to attach the ducting at the bumper end, so I can only assume that they must have a specific part number (attached my makeshift ducting via cable ties to the fog light fittings)
It is something I have looked into as I constantly cooked the brakes on my old 2.0 DTI as well as my 2.2 Direct.
Granted they are standard size (milk bottle tops) but there is a definite benefit to any extra air you can get to the wheel wells to aid brake cooling. BMW have been fitting brake ducts to standard models for over 30 years along with VW having large cut outs in the lower front bumper/arch liners on standard Golf's and Passat's for a long time now.
Mid 90's Polo's had a fin on the caliper and the lower arm to direct air inside to the disc as standard fit on 1.0 models too.
I made some front tubing into the front outer grilles on my old Saloon and ran them through to the wheel wells (through the arch liners with a hole saw) but they were to small a diameter to make any difference)
The Vectra V6 facelift, as far as I know, all have ducting, be it SRI bumper or not.
Admittedly, I could be wrong with all, but all that I have looked at have anyhow

The 2.8 was not available as an SRi only Elite trim Vectra wise and all auto too, Signum well Watchman's 2 Signums are both Design if im right which is a kind of SRi i think as it seems the sportier out the lot. But i know they all had 314 brakes as only the VXR had the blue 345's there are no plain 345 calipers available. Most Signum 2.8's are auto as well, its very rare to find a manual, all talking about facelift though as they didn't do a preface 2.8.

There must be a part number for these grilles as it is otherwise a standard SRI bumper, be it Vectra or Signum, it is only the grilles that change, but I cannot find anything coming up anywhere
Shame you don't have those parts any more lol
I'm refreshing all my suspension and would like to upgrade the brakes while it's all in pieces and add in the ducting
Planning on visiting my Vec this weekend (she's locked away in a garage) and will post up what I have done with my grille for the chocolate box ducting, it's very similar and the brake ducting is where I got the inspiration

The police had 2.8s in sri spec. Basically a vxr in sri body and interior. They 345s behind 17" wheels with the brake ducts I'm assuming. And all manual gearboxes

Yeah, the ones I see in photos and the ones I did have had the slots cut out really neatly so must have been some factory mod. I cannot remember if there were machine marks as I’d guess they are created with a slot drill or mill. This thread has been a great learning curve it’s amazing.

Another thing I forgot to say is, if you do read all forum posts like me so see what goes on or has gone off if your not as experienced with these cars or engines that you havnt contacted me. As we might be close, well you could be the Bingham side or Calverton side of Nottingham as I’ve passed on info I have found and learned same as others have done with me.
Ok a brake duct that’s dropped off you don’t want to drive around with as it will get damaged and fall off, but if you’ve seen the pictures I post in my diary they can be a right swine the arch liner end as there’s a metal clip which is missing from your picture so it might have come off and can be awkward to fit back on.
I don’t mind showing you some of the bits you don’t understand on these, I’ve benefited from others learning so I don’t mind helping others with mine.
