Smile The Darklord drinks a coffee.

Yes loyal ones, the Darklord is in a high st, drinking a socially distanced coffee, while the noble steed is examined in the garage, to see what horrors the MOT will bring. One nail has been chewed already.Im hoping it will slide smoothly through, what with its clayed, slippery bodywork...

Hmm, well the idea that the garage might be dazzled by the shiny paintwork didn't exactly work.

Emissions failed (but no engine light on - eh?)
Handbra siezed (who needs it anyway?)
All disks and pads (brakes are overrated)
    Droplinks
    Steering gaitors
    Rear suspension arms
    Rear trailing arm bushes
Rear anti roll links and bushes
    Headlamps borderline opaque

Er right. How much for that little lot then?

"It's had it mate. Not worth it. Scrap it."

Er thanks. But I've just polished it...

Back to the drawing board folks...this may be the end for the dark one...

Said news but with what you'd in parts to fix it i'd say they are right... time for a fresher veccy or any other car that has just passed MOT that can be picked up for around 600 to 1500... and if you want a veccy petrol that is in that price class, you can actually pick up a car in vgc either a 1.8 or a 2.0t (where the 1.8 will be the cheapest and the 2.0t more expensive)

I hope the dark one finds another Vectra, would miss the forum posts otherwise. Maybe a 2,0t wouldn't be much more expensive in the long run due to less oil consumption
