Vehicle : 2005 Vectra C 1.9 CDTI (and other Opels)

Default 1.9 CDTI 150hp daily break

    Hello!
My story sounds like this: in 2015 I've bought a 1993 Vectra with 1.7 TD (Isuzu) engine, very cheap (400 euro). For 3 years that was my daily, love it. After multiple repair (just because age and high mileage), i considered it's too rusty, and start looking for another car. So, in 2018 i bought a nice Ford Focus, low mileage, nice colour, strong car, but... WAS NOT A VECTRA.
I had the "new" nice car ready to drive, and i was driving the old rusty Vectra. So, i sold the Ford after one year, and find this Vectra C.
I wasn't sure if i'll go for a A model or C, but i considered C better for safety and reliability.
So, this is the car i liked from the first saw. I'm not a break lover, but it was well maintained and good priced, so i took her home
    Sorry for the long story

I'm happy with it, the seller changed the intake + EGR with new ones, service it properly.
    For now, i've done:
    -LED upgrades
-purchased parking sensors kit (not hurry to put them)
-ordered white and blue SMDs for dash lights
    -ordered washing nozzles for headlights
    -applied homemade wax underneath it
-cleaned CD lens because was now reading music cd's.

In the future, maybe i will:
-go for 17" or 18" rims
    -put xenon kit
-change the seats with leather one
-make another soft for her (now it's stock)
-buy a 1993-1995 Vectra A and spend all my money making it racecar

Pictures from when i've bought it:

Nice, what does daily break mean? To me it means a break like you have at work, a tea break.

Ive got some parts in my Vectra from Romania from @Alin Bogdan
And a Romanian Shepard that was rescued starving from some mountains somewhere who seems to like it in the UK

    Some updates:

New oil and filters (Ravenol & UFI)
AC leak solved (two new sealings)
I've started to change interior lights (dash SMDs), but don't have enough time to get it done
Painted both bumpers and rear panels, but the colour didn't match, it's horrible... Next summer I'll paint whole car, maybe another colour... Not sure.
I bought new rear shock absorbers, will mount them with winter wheels; old shock absorbers are in bad condition.
Car runs very well, I love it.
Problem with front right door, can't open it from outside. I'll take it apart, to see the issue.
New low-beam LED bulbs, 4300k, 12.000Lm. They light very good, don't know if police like them
I bought cheap rear shock absorbers, I will mount them with winter wheels. the ones on the car are bad

I think you mean 'brake' not 'break'(also referred to as a 'shooting brake'), which was used as far as I can remember in the UK, prior to the 1980's when describing some estate cars, and especially 'sporty' estate cars , and Opel indeed used to call estate cars 'caravans'. I believe the term 'brake' or 'shooting brake' originated in the USA, and adopted here when everyday cars were largely developed along American lines. Caravans here in the UK are exclusively mobile homes, which, when not parked on a driveway, are dragged along the highway behind a car.

No, it's "Break", on this side of earth
Look, for example, this is Dacia Break, made in Romania from 70's to 2004 (when Logan was born). In Europe and other country, "break" is a popular concept. But we all know that UK is always different

    Got it. It's France's fault

"Station wagons have been marketed using the French term "break de chasse"[citation needed] (sometimes abbreviated to "break"), which translates as "hunting break", due to shared ancestry with the shooting-brake body style."

The fault also lies with the English language as it neither truly phonetic nor reliable in the way words can be spelt. 'Break' and 'Brake' are spelt differently, yet have different meanings, and are pronounced the same. The same is true of 'curb' and 'kerb', which are also very often confused.
