Default Jacking Vectra C . Advice Needed.

If jacking my Vectra C at the front, please can anyone advice where to correctly position a trolley jack under the front of the car to eventually lift both sides of the vehicle to then where to position the Axle Stands to support the front of the car. Don't know if anyone has a photo as i suspect to describe a exact position would be difficult.
    Your help much appreciated.

If you get on your hands and knees you will see an inverted triangle/Arrow,on the sill. This is the jacking point.
Where you put the axle stands is dependant upon where you need to work/access etc.

Avoid any suspension arms, as you will bend them. Likewise, don't jack on the lip of the sill where the default car jack would normally be fixed.

Not sure if this is any help? I can't remember where I obtained it from.

Diagram above a great help. I can now see where i can safely lift the car. Only slight problem I've found is where I'm lifting the car with my Trolley Jack is also the same place i guess i need to position my Axle Stand. Thought about positioning Axle Stand and supporting weight of car at the manufactures "Arrow" marking on the forward & Aft parts on the sill where you would normally put the boot jack to change a wheel, but it's cup holder is only plastic and would not except an Axle Stand
Please advise me if there is a way around this as i could be missing something here.

I got a wooden block slightly bigger than the trolley jack cup and cut a slot in it that the sill lip sits into. Can jack the car up on the sill where the boot jack would normally fit, then be able to place the axle stands where the indicated marks are on the diagram.

On ebay you can either buy a round rubber block with a slot in it to fit the sill or you can get one that fits in the plastic jacking point and use a normal trolley jack.
