314mm Calipers how do you tell which is N/S or O/S?
Hi lads I need some info please
I have just bought a pair of 314mm callipers but I am unsure which is NS and wihich is OS they look identical apart from the bleed nipple locations.
Also will my standard 285mm brake hoses fit and work on these callipers or do I need to get different hoses for them?.
Also am I right in thinking the standard rear 278mm callipers are the same as the 292mm callipers but just different carriers and vented discs with shallower pad material?,I could be being stupid here but the callipers look to be no different?

Nipples should be hard and pointy up I think

No, pads are the same, 292mm caliper is wider.

I removed the heat shield/disc backing plate completely as didn’t want to get the grinder out with a brake fluid puddle on the floor lol
