I've bought them online, they are the same for Vectra; Insignia; Astra J:

    Hi all,

Since these days roads are clear due to the COVID situation, today I decided to take the opportunity and do a little "photoshoot" of the Vectra.

The pictures might not have the beset quality since I took them with cell phone, but I hope you'll like them!

Although i really enjoy the pictures (very nice pictures indeed) I do think... shouldn't you be inside and not use your car? Unless you went for shopping and you can't walk all the way to the store your car should be parked up. stay safe... but i have to be honest you picked a nice backdrop

yeah and no... keeping yourself away from others is the best way to stop the spreading of the virus, it's just that some people need more social interaction than others... i'm quite fine with how it is... nice quiet and peaceful, i live near a big park with a pond and noticed that some wildlife is actually coming back and roaming around more clearly through it. It's a good thing that has come from all of this... don't know if you have seen the pictures from Venice in Italy but that water is now clear and the bigger fish (wales and dolphins) are actually swimming in their waterways again...

longstory short, if this continues for a longer period the worlds environment will definitely be better off: also don't know if you've notice but the air outside already smells cleaner.

trying to look at the positives of this situation...

    Totally agree with you,

It is true that nature neded a rest from humans so much, and it is nice to see things you mentioned above.

I also read somewhere that even ozone layer started recovering too, I hope this is true aswell

In your last picture, a snowflake is captured behind your front wheel, looks almost like a silver mudguard, make me think it would look great with body coloured guadds behind the wheels lol

the problem with that is finding colour-coded mudguards as star-silver is available in 3 flavours... and all of them seem to be the same but they aren't you'll notice it as soon as you have sprayed something and hold it next to the car... but the tell tale colour band on most aerosols is not right.... and to find them in that colour pre-made... well that will be a big problem i'm talking the rally style mudguards though as the oem versions aren't worth their price not even if you get them of a scrappy, they won't stop mud flying everywhere, especially not with how you've spaced your wheels out.

I don't know what to think about your idea.

Here in my country they're not popular at all, in fact I've never seen a Vectra with mudguards so I never thought what they might look like

Hahhah, that's so true, there has been occasions I've seen dirt splash up to rear of the car, on the c-pillar which has come from the front wheels
