GTS 2.2 DTi from Kosova
Hi all,
Since I've introduced myself a couple of years ago, I never had opportunity to post thing's I've done to my car.
So I decided to start a thread and show things/mods (except repairs and fixes) I did to the car. Probably not many of you still own Vectra's or would be interested on knowing much, but since here Vectra's still a decent car and I really like them. I hope I'll find someone who appreciates my work on the car!
Firs I got a friend of mine to do a photoshoot of the car!
Then to prepare for winter I painted the steel wheels so fitting them to the car would not make it such a terrible action!
Next thing I've don was installing a Bluetooth/MP3 module, which I did solder onto the ch-changer ribbon since the changer was already broken so I had nothing to loose!
Next thing on the list was tinting the windows. I went for 15% vlt which yes got me some tickets but it's the price we have to pay for putting looks before everything!
Next mod I've done was installing a big brake kit, which I got off a 3.0cdti Vectra caravan and of course the difference was massive not only on braking performance but also the looks of the car!
A mistake I made was getting a set of fresh rubber from Pirelli to replace old Bridgesotnes, which I really regret since I still miss the very good RE002s!
After I got a set of polishing pads from China, now I was able to polish the headlights which I oppend apart in order to clean them inside and also polish the glass in both sides.
Then I replaced the sagging roof lining with a fresh one!
After quite some time looking for spacers which I was not able to get in my country, I was lucky to get a pair from Italy. They were not expensive and 20mm really made a big difference!
I then refurbished the steering wheel by sending it to be wrapped on fresh leather!
I also got a set of metal pedals for Insigina OPC to give a good touch to interior!
Having friends who break cars for parts is not a bad thing since I was able to get hands on a VRX (OPC) boot spoiler, which I was very luck since the car I got it from was the same color as mine and I changed the whole boot door in order to not put things apart and the re glue them back together.
After this I was able to get my hand on a set of 18" Penta wheels from Astra, which I refurbished and warped on a set of "Uniroyal Rainsport 2" tires which I managed to find in a very good (almost new) condition!
I'd like the tires to be 25/40/R18 but I had to go with 225/45's and now I have to roll the arches since with 20mm wheel spacers the tires are constantly grabbing onto them
Like we know there is always something you want to do to the car. And since many of things mentioned above I was able to do after reading this forum, I think that I will keep posting to this thread as I get new things done!

Nice car + great thread!
I think silver vec with matching pentas has got to be one of the best combos, although I might be a bit biased seeing as mine is the same

Haahahhahaha, maybe some people would like some contrast, but I like to go with OEM+ looks so I was never a fan of wheels painted with unusual or different colors!

With that colour you took the right approach... the wheels look like they belong on it.... just think you should've gone for 15mm spacers.

YES! 20mm spacers are really wide now but they were fine with 17" and 16" wheels!
Now I'm thinking of getting a pair of 16mm spacers if I can get hands on them.
