Poorly motor in Hull
Hi folks
Hope everyone and all is well?
I hope someone out there can help?
My beloved vectra ain't well at all and we need some of your help. She is a 2005 3.2 V6 non turbo with only 80k on the clock.
The problem when cold she runs sweet as a nut, but as soon as she starts getting up to temperature that's when things start going wrong. She starts running lumpy and coughs and farts when I press the throttle.
I'll let her cool down and she runs like nothing is wrong until again up to temperature.
Nothing is showing fault wise when plugged in to proper diagnostic equipment, done the basics of changing all plugs and leads even coolant temperature sensor.
Please we are fustrated as hell, daft as it sounds we are trained mechanics but this one is really testing us and need help if anyone has had this problem.
Many many thanks

Have you tried replacing the crank sensor?
Also, if that does not work, try the lambda sensors

Thanks everyone for the helping hands

What diagnostic gear is being used ? It sounds like a coil pack breaking down when warm but a genuine Vx code reader should show something and give live data report.
Is the spanner light coming on with the ignition lights before starting the engine ?

Hi there thanks for the reply..
It had snap on modus and laptop on it not one just for vauxhall..
If I remember the spanner light ain't on the main screen but the engine management light is on..
I know the diagnostics being used works ok as I had a missfire and it picked it up..injector that I changed was replaced with new from vauxhall.
