Had a wee nosey under the car for the first time :O and noticed it's got 2 exhausts!!
Are they standard on all 2.2's? Mine is the Direct and i was just wondering.
The left one seems to be blowing slightly louder than the right though...

I believe they do but I could be wrong. One will blow harder than the other because of the route the exhaust takes. One side has a slightly harder backpressure due to restrictions in the pipework.
Took car to get a problem fixed this morning at my local vauxhall dealer and was told it had 3 recalls issued!! It had been in for 2 days the previous week and nothing was said.
One of them was the exhaust pipe which was fine, it had the new part already fitted. One was a pipe in the engine or something that was loose and one other that i forgot!
They said everything was fine with it, i was like it should be because it's only 2 1/2 years old with just over 22500 miles!
if it's an SRi direct, then yes it will have 2 tailpipes....
perhaps the dealer just 'forgot:.. to look into the recall history of the car on the previous trip..
Think his is a "life"
so it is.... so it'll have two 'turn down' pipes under the rear valance..
yeah they are sort of 'hidden' behind the bumper. Think it would look better with the two sticking out though......
As for the recalls, the technichian who dealt with the car was the most helpful i've ever spoken to there. He reassured me the car was fine and he would tell me if anything was wrong, and also if i ever had any worries just to bring it back in. Most of the other guys couldnt wait to get the car in and out and get me away!!!
yep, it's all time bonus driven.. so it's as fast as they can...makes a nice change to get that 'little extra' customer service
