heated drivers seat not working

hi i have a insignia and the drivers side heated seat does not work passenger seat works fine if i put drivers seat on the dash shows it as working but it only stays lit for about 1 minute then goes off and no heat in the seat as the light on the dash does not stay on for long is that due to the problem any info will be a great help thank you

Just checked some previous members faults and it seems possibly the heated seat Matrix is at fault , dealership fix possibly.

There was a recall between 2010 and 2013 for the drivers side one doing exactly that (mine does it too), not seen one for the passenger side, but on the drivers side the repair is apparently a new connector plug (the old one is slightly too short so doesn't connect correctly) and a re-designed base heat mat
