Presumably you've checked that the bulbs haven't blown?

ok so thanks for the reply ive removed the bulbs and was going to just put new bulbs in but they seem to be different to what should be in the units so ime guessing somebody has fitted a hid kit see pic i added the bulbs that i have come across and checked with a meter but seem to have no power to the bulbs but the fog light bulb on the dash is working fine ?could it still be a fuse if the dash light has its power as normal if it could still be the fuse any idear what fuse number it is and is it the fuse box behind the glove box 80542923_10156636077207483_7289403110198345728_o.jpg

If you only bought the bulbs and they have no starter or the starters aren't wired in properly than they won't work... I suggest you put normal halogen bulbs in them and remove the wiring from the old hid kit first... you should be left with the oem wiring to the oem bulb than check if the lot works...
You can always go hid afterwards... but this year at MOT my hid kit got put on as an advisory... so probably next year they will be classed illegal...

as north says go back original to check system. if hid's have been fitted they are directional, Ive just fitted some to my headlights and didnt work, normally there is one pointed bit to clip in but on the new ones there are two. sods law, on both bulbs I fitted wrong way round.
