Whistling
I purchased my used Insignia 2 litrr diesel a few months ago. I noticrd from day one it was making a whistling noise that incteases with revs, but about 2k revs I can't hear it, although it might be drowned out by engine and road noise.
The garage replaced the timing belt and turbo under warranty and that seemed to fix the noise. Unfortunately it has now returned. I suspect either a drive belt or a split intake hose. Are there any common causes I should be investigating?
The last time I had a similar noise it was my flexi pipe on the exhaust.
