Alternator died on me at Lakeside.

AA got me home with a loaned battery. Tried on e-Bay but company said my model has various types and do I have number. Suppose I have to remove it to find that.

Anyone at the Aveley unit on Sunday maybe have a alternator there.

I know it's abit hidden but have a good look at it get a small mirror and a good light and you may find the decal telling you what it is . i know all 3 of our 1.9cdti vectra's 2007/2008 have the identical alternator and i do have a spare that i took off the write off that was almost new but that was a reconditioned one so has not got it's original id decal on ,i'll dig it out and take a photo later today.

2 different make denso which has the nut fixing for the conector and the bosch type which has the plug type conector 105 amp is the stardard output but as yours is the top of the range i think its 120 amp

Ok sorry no photo as camera has gone on the blink . But i have had alook in my paper work and found that all both our 2 hatchback design models 57 and 58 plate and 08 plate sri estate have the same alternator , Bosch 120amp o/e 93191921 ,bosch trade abreviation pt no. 8037.
