Z19 DTH Holding back under load
Hi,
Can anyone offer any advice please, I have a 07 Vectra c that’s running a z19dth that was mapped about 3-4 years ago and has always run perfectly until recently when it started holding back when on full boost and only when the engine is up to full running temperature
I’ve checked all the hoses that I can see and just replaced the boost pressure sensor not manifold mounted map sensor but hasn’t made the slightest difference. When this happens no eml or spanner lights come on and if I keep the pedal to the metal it just stays flat then if I back of and on again it happens again but as said above its only from cold.
Im now thinking the along the lines of the turbo actuator is letting go but not sure so thought I’d ask the question here
Cheers guys

You've got a variable turbo.. move the turbo actuator rod with your fingers without the car running... if it doesn't feel smooth to the touch it means the turbos vnt mechanism needs cleaning...
