    ok supercharger adding to my vectra. can it be done? if yes what gains and what else is needed.

    Best to google and see if you can find out. Doubt if anyone has done it on here ( of course you can do anything if you throw lots of money at it but the outlay verses the gains will be minimal) and thats why you wont get any replies because its cheaper and easier to get more power out of the 150 1.9cdti, 2.0t or the 2.8t

    Yes, it can be done quite easily, if you follow the instructions in the box it won't take you more than 3 hours to do. Whilst you're at it, you might as well install a second supercharger in the boot to power the rear axle - with winter coming, having a 4 wheel drive system will be very handy. Especially if the Beast From the East makes another appearance as is being forecast.

    mine is the z18xe engine. just seen advert for a 1.8 preface vec that has been converted to a 2lt turbo engine. my gearbox crapped itself so only bare engine left in car. he only wanted 120 for the engine with 130k miles. very interesting.
