Is this readable? If not, buy this month's Car Mechanics magazine, or if you're from Derby just read the top half of page 17 whilst standing in front of the magazine section in Tesco then put it back after. So unless you're a Trump fan and you declare this is just "fake news media" then you should accept this Doug Bentley bloke knows more about exhausts than us. And he says back pressure matters. So there.

I read that wiki link and one word occurred to me: so?
well unfortunately 3 wasnt a lucky number for me. it failed on track rod end, wiper blade, a leaking brake caliper which wasnt leaking during test, and exhaust leaking at joins. no mention or printout if it failed emissions. so number 4 mot is hoping end of next week. wipers have been replaced. rest of work next week.
i knew it knew it knew it. supercharger on my vec c
Wrap the leaking caliper in a plastic bag. By law the tester isn't allowed to remove or dislodge anything to get a better look, e.g. engine covers to look for oil leaks or baby seats to check the seatbelts, so if the caliper is hidden there's nowt he can do about it. If you hadn't replaced the wiper already you could have wrapped that too.
i think y he said it was leaking is, the passenger rear caliper was replaced and i swapped the back wheels over. and the metal inner had brake fluid on it but dry. can i wrap a bean tin around exhaust lol
