I’ve converted my headlights and main beams to hid and would like to know if I can change the main beam to xenon like I have with the headlights.
I have a 2006 vec c and have a tech2 at my disposal.
Many advice would be great.

In one word ... No.
You can only program the UEC to do what it would do if there had been Vx Xenon lights fitted, which were only fitted as dipped beams.

Plus it takes time for the HID's to fire up so if you needed full beam straight away it wouldnt be very bright. Just stick some nightbreakers or some other brighter normal bulbs.
Cheers for the help lads. I go to Cumbria frequently and the a69 has long stretches of road with no lights and the hids are what the car needed due to the candle power they actually emit. I’ve bought some big resistors to put into the wiring to stop the strobing I hoped I could sort via tech2 like I did with the dipped beam. I have the can bus bulbs but they still flash intermittently.
Plus what's already been said, HIDs don't like being switched on and off repeatedly (such as in high beam applications) because it can shorten the life of them.
The poor light output is the dipped beams, not the high beam. Just fit some decent normal bulbs in the high beam.
