because........SIGNUM!
Really enjoyed it. It was nice to go to a car meet and made to feel welcome. Good to meet you all and will look forward to going to a lot more, maybe even vboa show next year.

I couldn't agree more, gents!
I've only owned my Vec for a few months, but this was the first event that I had attended. Met @Dog_Book just outside Derby, and then had a mini convoy down the A50 to the venue - highlight being his 'blast' through one of the underpasses with his VXR estate!
A cracking breakfast, decent banter and advice from a knowledgeable lot, and not once was I made to feel anything but welcome during the whole meet! I have been to too many car meets over the years, and have had my fair share of clicky groups - there was none of that at all!
Seven cars, split into - 6 CDTis and one VXR / 4 estates, two saloons and a Signum / but ONLY ONE XP2!
I'm up for plenty of more meets now, so please keep me posted on any. That VBOA camping meet sound like it might be fun, Mikey & Steve!
Here's a handful of my photos from this event, but I never took any of my own car, so if you did take some!...
All post facelift cars then?
Makes me wish I’d brought my own unmodified pre facelift car.

Ay up all! I was most pleased to meet you all (even though I was late). Dog Book was highly knowledgeable (and very helpful - cheers my friend) and all the guys were highly friendly. I've seen the VBOA piccies and I reckon, all things being equal, I might give that a go too. Thanks for making me feel welcome!
It's probably worth a mention here. The photos are a good post, but we really prefer posts of pics on the forum are uploaded to the forum server for posterity
