SRI 1.8 what feels like misfire
So when cold starting is fine but soon as you put your foot down to pull away it hesitates badly like flat spots , then get power, hesitates again but once above 2000rpm it’s better
when warm it’s only slightly noticeable but have seen it doing when driving at 60-70mph so revs are between 1000-2000 and then when slowing on the revs it would judder ie like slowing on a motorway
no codes or lights present and no idea either lol
its having its cam belt done so am getting the VVT pulleys checked but anything else?

Spark plug, coil pack are likely reasons. VVT solenoids, perhaps. Fuel filter - lots of possibilities. Surprised no light or code?
Good luck.

Good luck.
Those were the things I were going to check. Would the solenoids cause it?
peddle test showed nothing so I plugged in OpCom and it was also clear except for open thermostat which I’m aware of anyway

Temp sensor, near the Heater pipes, rear of the Thermostat housing, it can fail intermittently - giving some odd symptoms. Brass looking thing - about £12 on Ebay. It does not flag up a fault, did not with me anyway

Me too
My 1.8 VVT SRI also has a problem similar to this, though it seems to happen most after idling or crawling for more than a few minutes. I've changed the coil pack and plugs but the issue still pops up every now and then.
Did you have any luck figuring out what it was?
