    Default Emissions fail

    Hi Folks,
My Veccy failed its mot today. The emissions were very high.
Not really sure where to go from here. Its the 16v cdti, Teapot tune with egr and Dpf delete. I love the car. I have not that long ago put a new clutch and flywheel in it, plus an fmic and new front and rear suspension bushes. I cant really throw any more money at it, but then again, I'm not in a position to buy another car at the moment.
The millage is quite high 190K, and it has started to smoke a little under acceleration.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Since May 2018 the test is failed if there's visible smoke of any colour from the exhaust, so things such as failing turbo oil seals will now cause a failure.

Mine is the estate, so the plated value is 0.50, which is why it failed.

The Dpf was gutted years ago, back when I had it mapped. Do you think getting another another and having it mapped back on, would solve it?

I wonder IF the dpf had not been gutted so was still in full working order wheather the smoke from possible failing turbo seals would be caught by the dpf. Just wondering. I can say that on all 3 of our dpf vectras if you stick your fingers up the end of the tail pipe there is no sign of any soot they are all clean. NO rude comments please.

I'll try and do a compression test this week, see if there's any issue that side of things.
I'm thinking I'll have to get the dpf put back, just have to try and reach teapot to get it mapped back.
Hoping there's no issue with the rings. Replacing the engine isn't too much of a problem, but finding a decent replacement is.
