can some advise me on the best postition on the vectra c facelife. I have the 150 xp version
any help would be appreciated. Or if somebody has mounted extra lights

Probably better to mount them on the top grill each side of the v grill or on the fog light grills next to the fog lights

Put them on the front side of a roof rack and fix it to the roof. Plus you can put an extra spare wheel in the roof rack (essential if as you say you do a lot of country driving), and you also have the option of bolting a ladder to the side of the car so you can reach the roof rack easily.

I would upgrade all the front lights to led's 6000k or 6500k so at least foglights, main baim, high beam.... nighteyes or novsight would be the brand i would use... just to maintain the oem look. But if you need an extra search light, the best option would be a roof mounted rack with those lights on and because of all the rural driving you do, you could use that same rack for an extra spare wheel, a full size alloy wheel with the same size tire you normally run, instead of the emergency spare wheel that is in the boot...

If you click the link in the original post "property in Alicante" it takes you to houses for sale.
