    You've gotta be careful using those! Because they are rotary, as opposed to orbital like the Porter Cable, it's sooooo much easier to make a mess of your paintwork - burn it etc.

    Unless you know what you're doing, or can do a good bit of practice on some panels from a scrappy, I'd think twice about getting one of those. In the right hands they'll do a professional job used with the right pads and products.

    Just my thoughts.

    Yeah as D said, need to be careful, everytime you use a PC on the car it takes a small layer of laq off, so eventually you end up with dull paintwork, and again I'd not advise you use this one, it looks more like an angle grinder than a polisher.

    Spend the £40 on decent applicators, clay, and decent microfibers ..

    leave the scary rotating stuff to the guys that do it for a living

    im with Fellie on this guys. I know you want an outstanding finish to your car, but if it goes wrong then you'll have to pay to it repaired proper. Or as above learn on a scrapped car etc.
