    Default Bluetooth module

    Hi guys,
I am new to this page so please bear with me.
Like most of you will know the the majority of the Insignia don't come with the Bluetooth module (only found this with research after buying the car) anyway I have located a BT module cables included, but what I need to know is would this fit straight in the car without the need for any codes?

I would rather go the one that was meant to be in rather than pay the £250 from eBay.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's like the Astra-J, then I'm pretty sure you'll need it coded to the stereo, which also means obtaining the VCI Code.

    Thanks Big Dave.
    It's a CDC 400 I have in the motor.
What is the likelihood of obtaining these codes? I have asked around with the auto electricians in my area also I'm not giving up hope yet.

The VCI code, I believe is only obtainable from Vauxhall, who have to apply to GM in Germany to get it.
Happy to be proved wrong though.

Not the first time I have read that scenario Big Dave, although I must admit it does seem a farce that you need a VCI code for to fit an original BT module.
