Actually on my car when i de-badged it both wings had something similar... but with the difference the topcoat actually is missing around the spot of the letters, i used some t-cut to flatten it down and polished it up.. it is still visible but only when you are up close.. but to have it really sorted out properly it'll need flattening by sanding it down, primer and a respray... i decided not to do it since i want to facelift mine so the wings are going to come of when i get to it.
I was always going to put OPC badges there so I can mask it but it's annoying.
Admin: could one of you fine folk convert this to a diary please.
Thanks

Got all my job's done I wanted this weekend 4300k hid kit in and Courtenay filter in.
Luckily a previous owner must have had a kit in as the plates already had holes in with gaffer over them .
Whipped the air box out (was going to do airbox mod but it'd already been done) gave it a clean out.. fitted the panel filter which wasn't a great fit and did the harder side of the hid kit. Removing the screen wash funnel was all I had to do on the other side. Bit of silicone sealant around the bungs should stop condensation.
Pick up with the foam as opposed to the standard filter is night and day.. so much quicker to spool.
I need to adjust the lights as I've got one almost pointing at the floor but the amount of light over standard bulbs is immense.
Got team heko deflectors coming this week.
To do
CU with 3 line CID conversion
OPC dials with smd conversion
OPC steering wheel bottom trim
Welded inlet
Teapot map with egr and swirl delete
VXR grilles and fog surrounds
VXR diffuser
Stainless back boxes with 6x4 ovals
Opel v
Opel snowflake centre caps.
Will probably get my lights and wheels refurbished at some point also.

So i couldn't for love nor money get the lights levelled. Drivers light was just a ball of light on the wall rather than the kickoff pattern. So after a quick chat with my dad (ATS Manager) he said it seems like the bulb isn't seated correctly. so with a brief pause in the f*ing rain before work i whipped the airbox off again and low and behold the bulb wasnt fully in. so as long as it's not peeing it down i'll try again .
Wind deflectors on..

Is it true the OPC stuff gives roughly a 4% performance improvement or is that just an urban myth?
