Radio upgrade

Hi I'm thinking of upgrading to a double din, dab radio with a reversing camera and blue tooth for phone, any recommendations please, thanks Martin

If you are "determined" on an aftermarket solution then I'm afraid that I can't help and expect that my Vx OEM ideals would or could influence my advice.

HOWEVER, if you are prepared to spend your cash on an "OEM" Style solution that is fully menu (like factory) driven, then I'm sure I can "assist"

Woody's offering is depending on you having a at least a CD70 with CID if you don't either get you get one and give the man a ring or PM or you go for the alternative.... one of those chinese units that has the whole load built in it won't look oem but most of them are kind of oke... I looked into them but think they are to expensive, especially since i saved my car from the scrappy (i paid 120 pounds for it 3 years ago) so i'm not willing to pay more than i paid for the car... if i would have paid more i would have already bought one of said units, andriod 9.0 based with full obd2 diagnostics, TV, DAB+ ,front and rear camera, dvd, mp3, video recording, wireless, internet dongle, bleutooth v5 ,aux in, line in- and outs, subwoofer line out etc etc etc etc... I would get it from either eBay or Aliexpress.

but they cost about double the price that i paid for my car and some brands (although more reliable) are even more expensive

a CD70 with CIM and all needed cables can be picked up from around 80 to 120 pounds... and the later price is what you'd expect to pay for a unit with the aux. tray etc.. and sometimes woody got used units available that go for a lower price so make up your mind and go for what suits you better...

either OEM+ or Aftermarket... big brands are expensive if you want everything so to keep the price low your best bet is OEM+ unless you run into someone selling his used aftermarket big brand for a reasonable price (and that doesn't happen often)

but i'll let you know now the problem with those things is reliability... they will work but got knows for how long...
