Exclamation HELP NEEDED, I'm in the....

    Guy's I'm in the ****...
Long story short I got shafted by my broker getting a mortgage having taken out a loan to set up a new business and it has put my home at risk from repossession
I'm dealing with that and it's going legal now.
This should have happened by February gone and had it gone to plan I'd be the happy owner of a 2016 vRS Octavia Estate by now.
It hasn't and I'm stuck with my 2007 1.9cdti(120) Sri Saloon that's just had her 70k birthday and this broker has ****ed my credit score up so bad I can't even finance something at the moment.
I need a vehicle for work (Electrician) but worse than that I set the ball rolling a few months back to rejoin (after a 7yr break) the Blood Runners (SERV in London) which is a voluntary service and a registered charity.
I'm completing my training in the next couple of weeks and will be available on the rota.

What I need to get done on the car and I need help with:

Fixed 30mm lowered suspension put back to stock - I'm happy to take your good stock suspension and you take my kit. (It's great on the open road but it's just to much for London speed bumps, potholed roads with such a precious cargo on board) - I've already got someone lined up to do the 3D alignment once it's changed. I've got the old parts still so If it needs news shocks/dampers and there's no takers.

x4 new/part worn winter tyres - I know Summers coming up but it's Winter when the bikes come off the road and the country roads in darkest, deepest Surrey get slippy. That and the new type NHBTS boxes are so heavy now that only some bikes can carry 2, for most it's 1 box and again the car is king being able to do several.

Clocks - Intermittent fault where they just die. Sometimes a quick flick of the ignition off and on brings them back to life but other times it doesn't. I'm aware this could be as simple as a cracked solder joint (and I can solder well) but the last time I had them out I couldn't work out how to split the case over the needles without damaging them to get inside and have a look

Air Con - need to maintain a consistent temperature for some of the blood products we carry during the Summer temperatures. I know it's got a leak somewhere near the radiator and it started after the first time I had the turbo and inter-cooler replaced a few years back.

Turbo Wine/split hose - ties in with the above, several months back I drove home and parked up, no problems or noise. next day start up and the turbo is singing. Car still has boost so I don't think it is the turbo its self. I can live with this although the sound is a bit embarrassing but as the front end needs to come apart I figured it was a good time to have a look. The noise does get quieter once the engines up to temp

Also the fan now kicks in when the car isn't up to temperature but temp gauge stays where it should. Thermostat?

Gear linkage cable - sat idling the car vibrates until you pull back 10-15mm on the gear stick and it all goes quiet. not sure it was adjusted when the Clutch and DMF were changed a few years back.

Rear boot Window replaced and or re-tinted Limo Black - Again it's a temperature control thing but the current tint has bubbled up and it's getting harder and harder to see out of when reversing

    Service - 6 months overdue

I'm not asking for freebies but the limited money I've got coming in while still investing in the business needs to be spent wisely. If you can help or have any contacts that can help please get in touch.

If you need signed off electrical work at your home I can do that as full/part payment

I'm based in West London (J2 of the M4) but could travel somewhere ideally to get it all done in a day or two. I'm ready to get my hands filthy but need expertise of someone who knows what they are doing!
Thanks in advance and I'm sorry I'm panicking a little bit. It's been the most ****ed up start to any year of my life

    Hi All
    thanks for your replies

For all her faults, I at least know the car since I picked her up with 24k on the clock. What's been done and what hasn't. There's a lot of personal interior mods that I'd rather I didn't have to rip out and refit to another vehicle hence I think I'll keep her for a bit longer.

Re the wine, I'm going with the theory that its rubber that has failed due to no noise while driving the day before. It was a very hot Summer last year and I think that's what failed during the cool down. I could be wrong.

Do we not know a self employed mechanic who knows the Vec somewhere that can give me a quote to get this lot done?
