AF 40 outbox does not play well with aircon

So basically what it says on the tin, whenever the climate control (at least the air con, not had a chance to test the hot air blower with it being +30out) is on and the car is stopped in D, there's this horrible grind nouns coming out of the auto box and the consumption goes up by a bit (around 10-15% I reckon). No problems in P, and ®, not sure about the last one will double check tomorrow.

I have had the oil topped up recently, had been driving at below level for a year but did not have this problem, just really rough switching.

For some reason this feels like a common issue, but I couldn't find other threads

What about driving with AC off? I did ask about your climate control in and another thread but no answer as i was thinking there could be an issue with the compressor dragging

Must've missed missed ur post, sorry. With the cc off its perfectly fine, drives like a dream. I mean the auto box still has its problems but nothing like this.
Did you mean the aircon compressor?
