So here's a problem one in a long line since I've gotten 2.8 Signum last June.
Basically whenever the climate control is on, regardless if its cold or hot air, the motor really starts to struggle.
On idle the revs go up and become irregular, it starts shaking, etc.
For some background, since last summer I've had the alternator restored, then the alternator pulley failed and was replaced. Then last month it was in at dealers, they found that the wire going to the LED daylights had not been properly fastened and was heating up which seams to have messed up the electrical elsewhere.
The dealer thinks that as result of them daylights wire burning up, the wiring between the alternator and the battery needs replacing. Quoted me 1500 euro for new wiring
Basically could it just be that the blower fan is done for and is pushing the alternator for more energy than it would normally need?
The problem only seams to occur when the auto climate is on. Other electricals run fine even seat heating and cooling.
Anyone seen something like that ?
