Question anti roll bar bushes sizes front and rear?

    hi everyone,

just spoke to my main dealer about the above and he asked me what size they were (after taking my chassis number to get the vehicle info up i thought this would have told him). he said they are either 24mm or 25.2mm. any ideas?

also picking up the spring mod this week as i am getting some creaking from the front or is this the bushes doing this?

my cars been running on koni 30mm adj suspension for about a month now and im getting these problems,(was expecting them).

    cheers

    kev.

get the 24mm one's, the bigger one's are really only for the bigger engined cars like the V6 CDti and V6 3.2..and at a push the 24's will go on fine in place of the 25's..

the creaking, if it's over speed humps then it's more likely to be the antiroll bar bushes than the spring mod,, but i'd still fit the mod anyway as it's only a few more bolts than just disconnecting the antirollbar links..

Top Tip..if you're changing the anti roll bar bushes yourself..disconnect BOTH sides of the antiroll bar links first, then just work on one end at a time..slacken the rear of the two mounting bolts and leave it in, but fully remove the front bolt as it's easy to get to with a long extension bar from the top of the engine bay..then slide the bar and it's hoop forward, remove the hoop, swap the bush and push the assy back into the rear bolt, refit the front bolt and tighten the back.. easy as pie, but access is poor..

on the rears, just undo the 13mm nut and swing the clip upwards, then just change the bush, sometimes refitting with a pair of grips will help you get enough thread back through the subframe to start the nut on the clip again..

it's easy to find them, just follow the anti roll bar back up to the centre of the car, and you'll see them on the subframe..if the wheel is a clockface, look at about '2 oclock' and you'll spot them hanging out, nice and easy to get to..
