Default The Darklord has s bit fall off.

Yes, loyal fans, as the mighty Vectra ploughs on, doing over 40 miles per litre of oil, ahem...petrol, disaster strikes!

When operating the temperature control with my usual delicate touch, bits of it fell off!

Now I have even more orange illumination at night...

I've had many things fall off my various jalopies over the years, but control knobs are usually pretty robust.

Tune in next week for another exciting installment...

(PS I've seen Dogbooks "burn it" approach, but in this case I really don't think it will be that helpful...)

Unlikely the OPs Vectra, which is a LS/Life model, would have climate control.

I would guess you had one at the bottom of the dash/console like the rest of us, and the other one fitted in your Travel Assistant in place of the Twin Audio controls, for rear passengers to set their own temperature?

If that were a possible mod, then someone on here might have done it, BUT GM never intended that to happen.

My Travel Assistant is long gone / sold now, as is most of my Gsi, only a few "tasty" bits left now for "picking"
