I used to own a few uno's back in the day, best one was a turbo facelift. The engines in them go on forever... I mean I seriously abused my ie60 didn't care about services back than as they were cheap as chips so just kept driving them into the ground... and the ie60 just kept going even when the body started to be eaten away by rust.... I owned that car for 7 years than a mate took it... and he had it for another 5 years before it finally was that bad it didn't pass the mot test because of structural damage ( read rust).... engine was still running fine and no both my mate and I didn't ever do anything but changing brake pads... it was a right laugh.... cheapest car I ever ran... especially since I both it for 25 guilders back than.... and that would be around 15 pounds.

@northpole I had an uno years ago and like you say the engines were decent , mine certainly didn’t live upto the age old joke of “Fix It Again Tomorrow “ =FIAT , the body was ****e though , this one is solid with only 31k and massive detailed history , only two owners before me , last moted 2014 I had it tested couple of weeks ago and only failed on rear brakes slightly binding so new cylinders sorted that and a bulb ..... not bad hey

I've got a MK2 Fiesta 1L L, when I purchased it it had a mono stereo , it is not standard now though, still got the 1L engine.
Also a Vec B Facelift with C20Let, badged as a 1.8, that is what it was originally, it has even appeared in Total Vauxhall as 1st place on the rolling road days twice
Not a car but I am currently riding a Yamaha FZS600 02 vintage, got over 50K on it and never misses a beat, in shed is a 1979 RD250F, that I have owned for over 20 years, just got to get my arse in gear and get it road worthy.
