Default Dipetane Fuel Treatment to get your emissions lower to pass mot

Well i have been speaking to a few of my mechanic friends who work at the bus depo in my town, the talk ended up with how they deal with their emissions and they showed me this product... Dipetane Fuel Treatment ... apparently this is what they use to clean the engines and catalysts on their engines and from what he told me it actually works. He showed me a fail and pass on emissions on the same bus and the reading went down from 3.0 to 0.25 within the same day ( they basically tested it in the morning, it failed the emissions test, they filled it up with Dipetane (100ml on 10 litres) and drove it around for 3 hours than retested it....

he said the stuff works on both petrol and diesel and is a non additive, meaning whatever they used is not an additive it is a different type of fuel that helps lower the burning point of the fuel thus burning the carbon better...

he also said it helps keep the internals of the engines clean but he didn't have any proof of that, but with a difference in reading like that i do believe it actually does that...

I just wanted to point it out to you all since i looked the stuff up and basically it is cheaper than any other diesel cleaner etc i have seen... you get a litre bottle for around 12.50 of ebay delivered to your door...

I have no affiliation with the company nor do i get any profits or proceeds from it...

PS if you go to the companies website you'll see the stuff has been used by governments all over the world including in the USA, there are a few testimonials on the website also so i'm intrigued by it and will buy a bottle and see if it works as i like to keep the fuel system and engine as clean as possible.

for people who want to read more about it here is their website

    Hmm, interesting.

I've tried cataclean in mine, and it does make it run smoother for a while, but it's too expensive to use regularly.

Dipetane looks much cheaper, might try it.

Interesting reading ,i'd never come across Dipetane and was just getting around to ordering some more Archoil AR6900-d from powerenhanser that i use when oilem hydrogen came up as availble on there website ,this seems like the same are very similar product there's a difference in the amount you mix. Comparing prices if you get the oilem product on members discount it's alot cheaper to use than dipetane.
