Door loom rubber sheath ( Safeguard warning )
I have the dreaded safeguard warning on my screen and ive traced it to the wiring in the rear, passenger door as I don't get the open door warning light on the dash and also if I unlock the car and then open that particular door the car locks itself as though nothing been opened. Its the door that is used the least so it was to be expected.
I don't want to just cut the rubber sheath and fix it, I would rather get to the wiring in a way I don't have to cut anything
Is there such a way?

I removed the plastic at the bottom of the pillar and the door panel. I replaced a longer bit of wiring otherwise the repairs are at the place where it's first to go broken AGAIN.

Thanks for your reply mate. Ive yet to tackle the jobs as I wasn't too sure how to get to the wire without cutting the rubber sleeve

No problem, I'm a truck mechanic and I did it in my free time. Was a job of 4 days, haha. Or 2 hours for 1 for one door. But I get home at 19:00, eat, get the tools, do something, have a cup of tea with the lady, put everything away take a shower and before you know it is 23:00 and the alarm will rang around 05:30 again. (and I have friendly neighbors so there was the occasionally beer or 2 and talking)
