Vectra 1.8 water pump replacement - engine mount removal?

Hi, I've got a 2002 Vectra with the 1.8 petrol engine that's due a water pump replacement.

I've read the Haynes manual guide for replacing the waterpump and it says that you need to lift the engine with a hoist so you can remove the right-hand engine mount. That's a bit beyond my comfort zone.

Is the Haynes manual correct or is there a way of doing it that doesn't end up needing to remove the engine mount?

You'd be better off posting Vectra issues in the Vectra section rather than in the Insignia one. That said, although I don't know much about the 1.8 in particular, most times when Haynes tells you that you need to hoist the engine, you can opt to instead support it from underneath using a trolley jack. You would still need to then remove the engine mount, whether that be to gain access to something behind it or to free up that side of the engine if you needed to raise it a couple of inches.
